    Formed in 2004, The Annapolis Chamber Players is a collective of Washington, DC/Annapolis musicians who come together to play chamber music. From duos to octets, Baroque to 21st century, the Players’ professional and relaxed style brings classical favorites and lesser-known chamber music gems to life. Join us and enjoy!   • Phyllis Crossen-Richardson
    Phyllis Crossen-Richardson

    Phyllis Crossen-Richardson (Artistic Director & Clarinet) has performed extensively as chamber musician and recitalist throughout the United States. 

  • Gail Vehslage
    Gail Vehslage

    Gail D. Vehslage (Flute) received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, studying with William Hebert, and her Master's Degree in Flute Performance. 

  • Hui-Chuan Chen
     Hui-Chuan Chen

    Pianist Hui-Chuan Chen was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and began piano lessons at the age six. While in school, she was the winner of the Wonderlic piano competition in Baltimore, placed second place in the Kaohsiung City Competition, third prize in the University Piano Competition and fourth in the Kawai Competition. She was also the rehearsal pianist for Taiwan’s National Symphony Orchestra for two years. Upon graduation from the National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, she moved to Baltimore to pursue graduate studies at The Peabody Institute.

    Nicholas Hodges

    Nicholas Hodges (Viola) has appeared as a chamber musician, recitalist, and orchestral musician in concerts and venues in the United States and Europe.

  • Elizabeth Meszaros
    Elizabeth Meszaros

    A native of Long Island, New York, Elizabeth Meszaros (Cello) received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Maryland in May 2012.

  • Jonathan Richards
    Jonathan Richards

    Jonathan Richards (Violin) received his Bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Northern Illinois University where he studied with Mathias Tacke and Shmuel Ashkenasi of the Vermeer Quartet.
