Celebrate
Salon Music at the Carroll House
A Charles
Carroll House & the Annapolis Chamber Players collaborative event
In the grand tradition of 18th-19th C. European salon
concerts, the Annapolis Chamber Players present Beethoven’s light and diverting
Serenade for Flute, Violin & Viola; Mozart’s Quartet in F, K. 496 for
Clarinet and Strings, highlighting the composer’s love of the clarinet; and
Heinrich Anton Hoffmann’s Duo No. 1 for Violin & Cello. Hosted by the
Charles Carroll House of Annapolis, patrons will experience chamber music in
the intimate setting for which it was intended and remember it long after
summer has ended. Begin the celebration by enjoying a glass of Annapolis Punch
while you stroll the Carroll Garden on the banks of Spa Creek and visit the
home of three generations of American patriots.
