Amazing melding of poetry and music in Steven Rainbolt's settings of works by Goethe and Dickinson.  Songs are enhanced with chamber settings, exploiting and enjoying musical colors. Transcription of Brahms' divine Op. 91, affectionately called the viola songs, is wrapped in Romantic splendor. Celebrating these wonderful works Mendelssohn's Concertpiece Op. 113, is an exciting musical feast with a great back story that shines bright with exuberant happiness.
