Dr. Robert Muckenfuss, Piano/Ensemble Coaching is the Music Director and Organist at First Presbyterian Church, Annapolis, and also a member of the voice faculty at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, MD. He serves as a vocal coach and Chair of the Vocal Studies Department. He coaches a full schedule of over 25 students and several classes for voice majors in addition to his duties as chair of the department. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, and his Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Ensemble Arts from the Peabody Conservatory. He was principal pianist and organist for the Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestras for twelve years. He was frequently featured as organ soloist in concert and on several Cincinnati Pops compact discs on the Telarc label. Recordings also include Dominick Argento’s A Waterbird Talkand Miss Havisham’s Wedding Nighton the Koch label with John Shirley-Quirk, and a recording with Peabody voicefaculty member Steven Rainbolt entitled The Rogue & the Romantic on the Viva!Productions label.
